This online service is super helpful when you are celebrating a loved one's memory from afar and the flower selection is great. In this case, I messed up when ordering, and upon contacting The Sympathy Store, they were able to amend my mistake and get the flowers where they needed to be the same day. My brother passed recently after his fight
with Cancer. Lavender or anything Purple/Lilac is my favorite color. White Roses are a symbol of loyalty, purity and innocence. I believe that when 'Souls' , transition , there is a return of that purity & innocence.

First of all I received 2!separate emails on delivery day that #1 they were changing my order with substitutions by the florist and #2 wouldnt be delivered on the day I requested. I tried to call the florist after talking to Sympathy Store 2 times and they did not answer. Called Sympathy Store back and they did follow up and tell me they talked to florist direct and all would be delivered as requested. One final note, I actually made a 3rd call to the florist and it was answered by someone that sounded like they were out of breath and started off rudely. They told me that with delivery, etc for flowers that they had never had any complaints on their arrangements and that it would look nice. It looked nice but I will never knowingly use that florist again. Also I will probably not use Sympathy Store again. I will just handle directly with a florist. This was for a dearly loved family member and I honestly felt that it was just business for florist. Sympathy Store was kind.

The flowers were mostly white with about 3-4 white roses with purple on the edges. None of the lavender colored flowers were in the bouquet. It was basically all white flowers. I upgraded to "deluxe", but not sure the florist got the memo.
I really hoped ordering through the funeral website would go well. It was quick and easy and flowers were delivered to the visitation. But, it definitely was not like the picture or description and looked like the regular amount of flowers and not the "deluxe".

I was surprised at the small size of the arrangement for the amount of money I spent. Just to let you know I was very disappointed to see this little very little bouquet. It is really sad to see something like that, You get one you get one shot at this. How you can rip people off like that is beyond me, If I would of know this I would of had a friend deliver three times the size of flowers. When I arrived at the funeral home to see the deceased and was thanked for the flowers, I was quite disappointed to see such a small arrangement considering I purchased the "Deluxe" version. Maybe I missed it somewhere, but I thought deluxe would mean a larger vase / larger arrangement. After spending $105, I was quite disappointed. I do see the arrangement contained white roses, which were beautiful and fresh, but the arrangement was not at all full as displayed in the photo.

This is the picture we were thinking we were getting and then found it was $94.95. The one we got for $64.95 was terrible and very sickly looking with no darker purple in it at all. The Sympathy Store was good and refunded part of our money back though and we appreciate that, but still feel bad that what we got for the funeral looked so bad. I guess we're going by what we can get here in Battle Creek, Mi. of $35 for something nice like this.

I purchased the Enchanted Cottage arrangement for my 19 year old niece we lost to a car accident. I had originally tried ordering (I hadn't seen the Sympathy Store yet) from a local florist who was recommended to me, and they were out almost out of flowers and couldn't take my order. The other local florist was closed. I looked at what The Sympathy Store had to offer, called with a question, ordered online and they were delivered in under 3 hours!!! I was very dissatisfied with the flower arrangement. The one sent was white and a majority of the flowers were withered. The flower ordered was “Enchanted Cottage.” The chosen flower was to reflect Rev. C.A. Latimer’s fraternity, Omega Psi Phi, which purple is one of the colors. Again I was very disappointed in the service.
